IMPORTANT: Publication of the Resolution of January 16, 2026, from the General Secretariat of Universities, amending the Resolution of December 11, 2025, from the General Secretariat of Universities, which approved the call for applications for the evaluation of research activity, to correct section 3.1.c, which should read: "University teaching staff members who provide services at the University on a part-time basis may submit their research activity for evaluation." The document has been sent for publication in BOE.

Evaluation advisory committees and specialists
- Structure: The appointment of advisory committees and specialists will have a one-year term, renewable for another year, except in the case of the presidencies, which may be renewed for two years.
- Selection and renewal criteria and procedure: To be a member of these committees, it is necessary to be a professor or researcher of recognized prestige with a minimum of three six-year research periods (sexenios).
- Members of the Advisory Committees of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity: Resolution of January 14, 2026 of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation, which publishes the appointment of Members of the Advisory Committees of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity.
- Changes to the Membership of the Advisory Committees of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity: See Resolution of March 17, 2026, of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation, providing for the termination of service and appointment of members of Advisory Committee 6.2 of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity.
