Quality Labels for Academic Publishing

ANECA, FECYT and UNE have implemented the Quality Labels for Scientific Collections and monographs. They are promoted by the Spanish Union of University Publishers (UNE) and supported by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) and the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT).

The purpose of the Labels is to recognize the best practices in Spanish university publishing and to become distinctive signs that both research evaluation agencies and the academic and research community will be able to easily identify. It also aims to serve as a means through which to promote and foster quality in academic publishing.
