Contracted staff

Through the Teacher Evaluation Procedure for Recruitment (PEP in Spanish), created in 2002 , the curricular evaluation of candidates for contract teaching posts is carried out as a prerequisite for recruitment in those positions that require it by law.

In the case of public universities, the law requires a prior favourable report for the roles of:

• Contracted Doctoral Lecturer (PCD in Spanish)

In the case of private universities, the law establishes that 60% of the total number of doctoral professors at a private university must have obtained a positive evaluation from ANECA for the role of:

• Private University Professor (PUP in Spanish)
