Information note on registration and evaluation dates for accreditation applications

Regarding the information published in ANECA al Día on the date of registration of the last file evaluated by each Accreditation Committee

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN:

1. The date of entry of the last file evaluated by the Accreditation and Teaching Staff Commission, expressed in month-year, does not mean that the evaluation of the applications registered that month, or in previous months, has been completed by the corresponding Commission. It means that this is the current month of the evaluations being carried out.

2. In compliance with Article 71.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, in each Accreditation Commission and Teaching Body, in the dispatch of the files the rigorous order of initiation is kept. The date of the electronic signature of the application shall be the starting date of the accreditation procedure.

3. From the time an application begins its evaluation process until it receives the final resolution, the time elapsed may be extended for several reasons:

a) The time elapsed from the time an applicant submits its application through Sede Electrónica until it submits through the General Electronic Registry the rest of the mandatory documentation (See Help Guide).

b) The delay in the start of the processing of applications in which the copy of the signed application is not included in the documentation submitted by the ERW.

c) The intermediate stages through which the application passes, requiring the participation of the interested party (correction / supplementary information / allegations / reinscription proposal).  

d) The time required for the issuance of the 2 mandatory reports due to the complexity of the file.

e) Difficulties in starting the processing of an application due to computer problems encountered in March 2024 (incomplete applications / blank CVs / unsigned applications / etc.).

Consequently, the date of registration of an application at ANECA does not determine that it will be resolved by the Commission and Teaching Staff on the same date as others submitted on the same day.
