Evaluadas 824 solicitudes de profesorado funcionario en el mes de mayo de 2024

The data published, corresponding to the meetings held until June 3 by the new accreditation commissions of the ACADEMIA program (constituted on December 29, 2023), are very positive as regards the time of resolution of applications.
 
This is due to the increase in the number of commissions and members, agreed by ANECA's management in development of the Royal Decree 678/2023, as well as to the effort and commitment of the commissions, which have followed the indications of the management in this complex transitional moment.
 
The resolution times of the commissions that resolved before 6 months in the last quarter of 2023 have been maintained in that time frame, while the resolution times of the commissions that exceeded 6 months have improved notably in almost all cases. 
 
Particularly noteworthy are the figures for Clinical Medicine, Health Specialties, Electronic Engineering and Telecommunications Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, Construction and Urban Planning, Law, Educational Sciences, History, Philosophy and Art, Linguistics and Philology. Many of these commissions are already under 6 months, despite the increase in the number of applications received.
