Mercedes Siles Molina, Director of ANECA, participated on 16 December in Brussels in the round table "Data, evaluation and law to strength the social dimension of higher education in Europe", within the programme of the Network of European Universities Working for Inclusion of Persons with disabilities, an event held at the headquarters of the European Economic and Social Committee and organised by the European Disability Forum in collaboration with EUni4.

The Director of the Agency gave a presentation on "Quality label for inclusion. An initiative to strengthen the social dimension of higher education in Europe". She explained that ANECA is collaborating with ONCE (Spanish National Organisation for the Blind) to develop an international seal of quality for social inclusion. What is not recognised has no value. This is a principle we follow. We will present this label next year.

He also explained, among other things, that in the Agency "we visualise our mission in the form of a cube, which we call the ANECA cube of quality. It is based on three dimensions: the first one is related to who the procedures are addressed to: people, programmes and institutions. The second is related to the missions of Higher Education Institutions: teaching, research and knowledge transfer. And the third is related to sustainability and its impact. All our programmes, all our projects, must be based on this three-dimensional cube.
