Professional Labels

ANECA's International Quality Seal Program offers the possibility of obtaining an International Quality Label (SIC) of recognized prestige in different fields. The SIC program has been active since October 2017, when the ACREDITA PLUS program, created in 2013, was reformulated.

Obtaining an International Quality Label (SIC):

  • Guarantees that the program/training center that obtains it meets international quality criteria agreed upon by academics and employers from different countries.
  • Recognizes the quality of a program/training center inside and outside the country where it is taught. This recognition is an incentive. It is a reliable guarantee of the quality of the programs/training centers that have obtained the International Label of Quality.
  • It assures employers of graduates from a program/training center that the knowledge and practical skills of its graduates meet a series of international education standards in the field of the label obtained.

Among ANECA's International Quality Labels, professional labels from international agencies are offered, for which ANECA has authorization to evaluate these labels. This authorization is reviewed periodically. In order to maintain this authorization, ANECA must demonstrate in an external audit its compliance, as an evaluating agency for these seals, with the criteria established by each agency that owns each of the labels.

ANECA is authorized to evaluate the professional International Quality Labels for Computer Science and Business Informatics (EUROINF), Chemistry (EUROLABEL), and the WFME label for Medicine.
