Professional Labels
ANECA’s International Quality Seal Program offers the opportunity to obtain a Seal of recognized prestige in various fields. The SIC program has been in effect since October 2017, the year in which the ACREDITA PLUS program—which was created in 2013—was overhauled.
Obtaining an International Quality Seal (SIC):
- It guarantees that the program or training center that receives it meets international quality criteria agreed upon by academics and employers from different countries.
- It recognizes the quality of a program or training center both within and outside the country where it is offered. This recognition serves as an incentive. It provides a reliable endorsement of the quality of the programs and training centers that have earned the International Quality Seal.
- It assures employers of graduates from a program or educational institution that the graduates’ knowledge and practical skills meet a set of international educational standards in the field covered by the seal.
ANECA’s International Quality Seals include professional seals issued by international agencies, and ANECA is authorized by these agencies to evaluate them. This authorization is reviewed periodically. To maintain this authorization, ANECA must demonstrate, through an external audit, that—as the evaluating agency for these seals—it complies with the criteria established by each agency that owns the respective seals.
ANECA is authorized to evaluate the International Quality Seals for Computer Science and Business Informatics (EUROINF), Chemistry (EUROLABEL), and the WFME Seal for Medicine. In addition, ANECA is currently undergoing an evaluation process conducted by ENAEE, after having requested the reinstatement of its authorization as an evaluation agency for the EURACE seal.

Published below is all the information an institution needs to be able to participate in the assessment processes of the different International Quality Labels managed by the agency.
International Quality Labels (SIC)
ANECA is authorized to assess the International Quality Labels for Information Technology and Business Information Technology (EUROINF), Chemistry (EUROLABEL), and the International Quality Seal for Medicine from the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).

EUROINF Seal of IT and Business Informatics
The EUROINF Seal of IT and Business Informatics is a certificate granted by an agency authorised by the European Quality Assurance Network for Informatics Education (EQANIE) that guarantees that a bachelor's or master's degree program in Computer Science or Business Informatics meets international standards established by academics and professionals who collaborate with the agency.

Eurolabel® Chemistry Label
The EUROLABEL Chemistry Label is a certificate granted by an agency authorised by the European Chemistry Thematic Network Association (ECTN) which guarantees that a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree programme complies with international standards established by academics and professionals collaborating with the agency.

World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) Label
The WFME Label for Medicine is a certificate awarded by an agency authorized by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) that guarantees that a medical training center complies with international standards established by academics and professionals who collaborate with said agency.
Nuevo Sello Internacional de la Calidad WFME de Medicina
El modelo de evaluación de este nuevo sello se basa en la aplicación de los criterios de WFME que son auditados periódicamente por las asociaciones internacionales ENQA, ENAEE, EQANIE y ECTN, e internamente a través de una metaevaluación anual.
