Assessment and evaluation bodies
The Advisory Commission for the Evaluation of Teaching and Institutions and the Advisory Commission for Teaching Staff Evaluation are technical bodies of ANECA in their respective areas of evaluation, as defined in Article 18 of the Statute. They involve academics of recognised competence, professionals with expertise in the field of higher education, university students and research staff of recognised prestige. Their composition is regulated through this selection procedure.
National Commission for Assessment of Research Activity
The National Commission for Assessment of Research Activity is the body of ANECA responsible for the assessment of research activity for the purpose of the recognition of the corresponding remuneration complements, or six-year periods, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
