2019 Call for Applications

  • 2019 Research Sexenios Call: Resolution of December 10, 2019, from the Secretary of State for Universities, Research, Development, and Innovation, establishing the procedure and deadline for submitting applications for the evaluation of research activity to the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (published in the BOE on December 11, 2019).
  • Maternity: Sexenios maternity note for women who have taken leave due to childbirth, adoption, foster care with adoption purposes, or temporary foster care.
  • Experts responsible for assessing the applications submitted for the 2018 call.
  • Application Submission Period: From January 15 to January 31, 2020.

  • Guidelines Applied by the Evaluating Committees in the 2019 Research Sexenios Call.
  • Evaluation Criteria: The 2019 call follows the specific evaluation criteria approved by the Resolution of November 12, 2019, by the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI) and published in the BOE on November 26, 2019.
  • Validations: Updated: University teaching staff in civil service positions may request, via this form, the validation of positive evaluations of research activity periods recognized before joining public service. This form must be submitted electronically at the following electronic registration address. Submission period: January 15 to January 31, with economic effects starting January 1, 2020.

In addition to the mandatory use of a digital certificate for the registration of research sexenios applications, applicants must first register in the Unified Applicant Registry of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities at the following link.
Please note that although the system allows access using Cl@ve, the application submission itself can only be completed with a  digital certificate issued by the Spanish Royal Mint (FNMT) or the national electronic ID (DNIe).
