Today, 1 April, the new Procedure and Criteria for obtaining state accreditation for university teaching bodies (Profesor/a Titular de Universidad and Catedrática/o de Universidad) come into force.
Since the approval of Royal Decree 678/2023, of 18 July, which regulates state accreditation for access to university teaching bodies, ANECA has been taking the necessary steps to adapt the accreditation of PTU and CU to Organic Law 2/2023, of 22 March, on the University System and to the aforementioned royal decree:
- Constitution before 1 January of the 30 new accreditation commissions and the 5 new review commissions.
- Approval of the new, more streamlined accreditation procedure, in which clarifications are being introduced as a result of the consultations received.
- Approval of the new criteria resulting from the public participation procedure carried out for the first time by ANECA.
Applications can now be submitted following the instructions contained in the help document 'How to submit an application' and adding the CVN and the rest of the documents required in the procedure.
The CV to be submitted in the new ACADEMIA 2024 must be in CVN format: this implies not only its standardised structure, layout and appearance but also that the PDF stores the merits and their metadata in CVN format, which allows them to be read automatically and loaded automatically into a database.
This CVN can be created with any editor certified by FECyT (list of certified editors: https://cvn.fecyt.es/servicios-cvn/instituciones-adaptadas-a-cvn), must be adapted to the merit structure described in the criteria document and must observe the limits on the number of merits in each section.
To facilitate its generation, a new CVN-ANECA option is being developed for the FECyT editor, which will allow direct downloading in the required format.
ANECA continues to work to resolve any incidents that may occur at this early stage.
