Meeting with CEUNE and CREUP for a better integration of the student body in ANECA

Pilar Paneque, director of ANECA, together with the heads of the Prospective and Continuous Improvement Unit and the DOCENTIA programme, met on 9 May with members of the Coordinating Committee of Public University Student Representatives (CREUP) and the State Student Council (CEUNE) to make progress on new formulas for real student participation in the Agency's various programmes.
The aim of this ANECA initiative is to promote a more active presence of students not only in the different assessment committees but also in discussion forums and workshops in which suggestions and experiences developed in centres or departments can be collected, which can serve as good practices (assessment of teaching staff, monitoring of degrees, etc.) and which can be transferred to the universities as a whole.
Furthermore, ANECA asked the representatives of CREUP and CEUNE for suggestions on the basic information and consultation and participation tools that they consider essential to offer to all students on the Agency's web portal. Proposals were also shared regarding the specific training on quality that ANECA could offer to student representatives and the interest in extending the figure of the Quality spokesperson to its management and representative bodies, so that a network of work in this area could be consolidated.
