ANECA has issued 1,657 Homologation and Equivalency reports in the first quarter 2024

The reduction in the number of pending cases compared to last year has been consolidated.
During the first quarter of 2024 ANECA has sent to the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities (MCIU) 1657 reports: 426 of homologations of foreign university degrees to Spanish university degrees required for the exercise of a regulated profession and 263 of equivalences of university degrees.
ANECA established new measures in December to speed up the equivalence of foreign degrees with positive precedents, in such a way that the number of files has decreased by 82.86%, from 1535 to 263 in the quarter.

* The files for which additional information has been requested from the Ministry for the evaluation, the documentation is erroneous or the documentation is not available are not counted.
** The 21.9% that are out of time are due to problems with the receipt of documentation from the Ministry or because they are associated with professions whose evaluation criteria are currently under review. In no case is this period longer than 6 months.
