  • 30/03/2026

Between January and March 2026, ANECA’s Faculty Evaluation Program (PEP) issued evaluation reports for 951 applications for Contracted Faculty with a Doctorate (PCD) and 813 for Private University Faculty (PUP), consolidating an upward trend in the pace of evaluations that was already evident in the previous period.

The call for accreditation of Contracted Doctoral Faculty and Private University Faculty (PEP Program) falls under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, in accordance with applicable regulations (Royal Decree 1052/2002, of October 11). The accreditation criteria published by ANECA will remain in effect until the Ministry issues instructions for their adaptation in accordance with the transitional regime established by the LOSU.

Furthermore, the average resolution period has remained at approximately three months, in line with the commitment made by ANECA’s management. Furthermore, for both PCD and PUP, the percentage of positive decisions during this period is approximately 69%, with a slightly higher rate for women than for men.

The data broken down by position, committee, and gender are presented in the following tables:
