Two new centers obtain institutional accreditation

  • 21/12/2023

They belong to the Public University of Navarra and the European University of the Canary Islands

On November 24, 2023, the Advisory Committee for the Initial Institutional Accreditation of University and Higher Education and Research Centers of ANECA issued favorable reports for the initial institutional accreditation of the following centers:

  • School of Agricultural Engineering and Biosciences, of the Public University of Navarra.
  • Faculty of Social Sciences, of the European University of the Canary Islands.

With these two centers, there are 74 centers favorably evaluated by ANECA. The list of centers can be consulted here

The Institutional Accreditation of university centers, regulated by Royal Decree 640/2021, is an alternative to the degree-by-degree accreditation, which aims to simplify the evaluations to which a university center has to submit by checking the effectiveness of its Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) as an instrument for the monitoring, analysis and decision making on the training programs of the official university degrees given in the center, to ensure its results and its continuous improvement.
