AUDIT Program: Certificates of Implementation of Internal Quality Assurance Systems Awarded in 2025

The AUDIT Program, developed by ANECA in 2007, aims to promote the design, implementation, and certification of Internal Quality Assurance Systems (IQAS) at universities, thereby contributing to the strengthening of a culture of quality within the higher education system.
The program’s evaluation model, aligned with the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG), allows for the certification of IQAS at universities or their centers in the areas of teaching, research, engagement with the local community, and external outreach. This certification is valid for Spanish universities in any autonomous community.
In 2025, ANECA granted certificates of implementation of Internal Quality Assurance Systems, based on the AUDIT Model, to the following university centers:

This annual report highlights the role that the AUDIT Program plays as a strategic tool for promoting institutional quality, as well as the universities’ confidence in the evaluation and certification procedures developed by ANECA. The granting and renewal of these certificates reinforces a culture of continuous improvement and helps ensure the quality of university education, processes, and services, in line with European standards and societal expectations.
