Aprobado el nuevo Reglamento interno de funcionamiento de la CNEAI

These regulations replace those approved by Order ECI/3184/2005, of October 6, which had been partially repealed after the integration of the CNEAI into ANECA in 2015.

The new regulations are in accordance with the regulations established by the ANECA Statute, within the new system of evaluation of research activity designed by Organic Law 2/2023, of March 22, of the University System, and Law 17/2022, of September 5, which modifies Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology and Innovation.

Taking into account the accumulated experience, its objective remains to facilitate rigorous, efficient and transparent action by the Commission in the exercise of its powers, and to improve the public service provided to society by this collegiate body, adapting its internal regulations to the reality of its operation. To this end, the system of appeals against the agreements of the Plenary of the National Commission is developed and a procedure for evaluating the members of the Plenary is provided that is more respectful of their rights as active personnel. The terminology is also adapted to the modifications of the ministerial structure with participation in the CNEAI, in addition to respecting the requirements of inclusive language.
