UNIR's School of Economics and Business Renews Its Institutional Accreditation

On July 23, 2026, the Council of Universities issued a resolution renewing the institutional accreditation of the School of Economics and Business, following an evaluation by ANECA. ANECA’s evaluation included a site visit by a panel of experts.

Institutional accreditation is based on the certification of the institution’s Internal Quality Assurance System, focusing, among other aspects, on how the institution reviews and improves its degree programs and how these programs uphold the commitments set forth in the verification reports. This process serves to alleviate the evaluation pressure associated with program-by-program accreditation.
