Participation in the European Higher Education Area
The Spanish University System belongs t the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) promomoted by the Sorbonne Statement (1998) and the Bologna Statement (1999) with the purpose of the harmonization and the mutual recognition of the Higher Education systems.
The internal quality assurance systems are one of the key elements of the EHEA.
