ANECA's management bodies report directly to the Agency's Directorate.

Management

Manager: DIEGO MÉNDEZ RUIZ

The person responsible the management of ANECA shall be appointed from among career civil servants of the General State Administration, from bodies or scales of Subgroup A1.

They will assume, among others and without prejudice to the competences of the Directorate, the following functions: general administration and internal regime; financial and budgetary management of the body; the administration of the body's assets, human resources; ANECA's IT services and resources; support for the Directorate in legal matters relating to the activity of the Agency, as well as those related to administrative procedures and hiring, without prejudice to the advice, representation and defence in court which corresponds to the State Legal Service; management of the internal regulations of the body and custody of ANECA's administrative files and archives.

Teaching Staff Evaluation Division

Manager: SUSANA QUICIOS MOLINA

The person responsible the management of the Division shall be appointed from among career civil servants of the General State Administration, from bodies or scales of Subgroup A1, or from personnel belonging to the bodies of Tenured University Lecturers or University Professors.

They will assume, among others, the following functions: the management of the different programmes related to the evaluation of teaching staff; the issuing of reports arising from these programmes; the chair of the Advisory Committee for the Evaluation of Teaching Staff; the general coordination of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity; the nomination of appointments of the members of the Advisory Committees and, where applicable, of experts and the coordination of their operation, as well as the custody of the archives of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity.

Degrees and Institutional Assessment Division

Manager: JOSÉ LUIS AZNARTE MELLADO

The person responsible the management of the Division will be appointed from among career civil servants of the General State Administration, from bodies or scales of Subgroup A1, or from personnel belonging to the bodies of Tenured University Lecturers or University Professors.

The Teaching and Institutional Assessment Division assumes the following functions: management of the teaching and institutional assessment programmes and the issuing of reports arising from these programmes; the presidency of the Advisory Committee for the Assessment of Teaching and Institutions, in addition to all those assigned by ANECA's management and any other functions that may correspond to it in accordance with the regulations in force.
