14,621 applications received in the 2024 call for research six-year periods

On January 13th, the 2024 call for applications for evaluation of research activity (research six-year periods) was opened, in compliance with the provisions of the Resolution of December 11, 2024, of the General Secretariat of Universities

Until the closing of the call, on February 3rd, 14,621 applications were received through the ANECA electronic headquarters. Of these applications, 6,854 correspond to the ordinary call (civil servant staff) and 7,767 to the call by agreement (labor staff).

Once again this year, the call for research six-year periods once again experiences a significant increase in the number of applications (13,354 in the 2023 call and 11,438 in the 2022 call). The percentage of women participating in the call for applications has also increased again, from 43.4% in the previous year to 45.27%.
