96.75% of evaluated six-year research periods for civil servants awarded

The plenary session of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI), held on 5 May, has resolved the evaluation of the sections of the ordinary call (civil servants) submitted to the call for six-year research periods in 2022.
Of the applications submitted to the ordinary call, 4.69% have not yet been evaluated for various reasons: they have not provided the requested information before the committee meeting, they do not meet the requirements to be evaluated, or they have waived the evaluation.
Of the total number of sections requested, 96.75% have received a favourable evaluation, with the percentage not falling below 92% in any scientific field. Likewise, the success rate is very similar between men and women.
