ANECA, within the framework of its Homologations and Equivalences program, continues working on the establishment of transparent and rigorous criteria and putting all the information at the service of the applicants. For this reason, three resolutions have been recently published which establish the evaluation requirements applicable by the experts of the Program of Homologation and Equivalence of Foreign Degrees for the homologation of foreign degrees to the official Spanish university degree which enables the exercise of the professions of Medicine, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine and Phisiotherapy.
These resolutions include the general evaluation criteria related to the duration and time load for the evaluation of foreign degrees that seek homologation to the Spanish degree that qualifies for these regulated professions.
These criteria will be applied by the experts of the Program of Recognition and Equivalences of foreign degrees of ANECA.
The establishment of these evaluation criteria allows, among other things, to compare the rules which regulate foreign degrees in specific countries or universities, in order to propose general measures which can be approved by the Commission for the Technical Analysis of Recognition and Equivalences and which allow to deal in a more homogeneous and efficient way with sets of dossiers with common characteristics.
