Teacher Evaluation Programme for Recruitment (PEP) Outcome Report 2023

In 2023, ANECA assessed 16,547 applications to the Teacher Evaluation Programme for Recruitment (PEP), compared to 15,968 in the previous year. As for the outcome, 10,431 (63% of the total) were positively resolved. Bearing in mind that since the entry into force of the LOSU the figure of PAD cannot be applied for, by decision of the Secretary General for Universities, the relative increase in the number of applications received is very notable.

In relation to appeals on negative evaluations, 340 were evaluated in this period, representing 3% of the total number of negative evaluations. Of the total number of appeals assessed, 26% were positive.  

The position that receives the highest percentage of appeals on negative evaluations is that of Assistant Professor Doctor, while, in terms of branches of knowledge, the one that receives the most appeals on negative evaluations is that of Social and Legal Sciences.
