  • 30/01/2024

The average time taken to resolve applications for teacher evaluation for recruitment is 3.3 months.

During the second quarter of 2023, ANECA's Procedure for the Evaluation of Teaching Staff (PEP) has issued evaluation reports on 1,558 applications for the position of Contracted Doctoral Lecturer (PCD); 1,395 for the position of Private University Professor (PUP); and 90 for the position of Assistant Professor (PAD). It should be borne in mind that as of 12 April 2023 no applications can be submitted for the post of PAD, following the decision of the General Secretariat for Universities, announced on 30 March 2023, that accreditation for the post of PAD could not be applied for after the entry into force of the LOSU by those interested and, therefore, the evaluation by the quality assessment agencies could not be carried out.

The average resolution period has also decreased from 3.8 months in the third quarter of 2023 to 3.3 months in the fourth quarter. In the case of PCD, 67% of the resolutions were positive; in PUP, 66%; and in PAD, the success rate was 76%.
