Letter from the director of ANECA on the evaluation of six-year research periods

In a letter addressed to the presidents of the committees evaluating applications for six-year research periods (call for applications 2022), the director of ANECA reminds that the CNEAI committees must strictly apply the criteria published in the BOE (Official State Gazette).
The recently appointed director of ANECA, Pilar Paneque, also indicates that the use - not justified in the framework of this call - of studies on publishers and journals carried out by ANECA, has generated problems in previous calls. Therefore, the evaluations of the applications received should be carried out taking into account the current regulations and the jurisprudence of the Supreme Court, as requested in the letter sent today to the chairs of the evaluation committees.
