ANECA, CRUE and CSIC submit joint National Chapter proposal to CoARA

ANECA, the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) and the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) promote the presentation of a Spanish Chapter in the framework of the call for working groups opened by the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA).
 
The aim is to create a collaborative space in which to exchange ideas, experiences and knowledge, and in which to develop debates and consensus on issues that help to reform and improve research assessment, taking into account the specificities of the Spanish context. 
 
The call requires that the proposal for the creation of a National Chapter be supported and articulated by at least half of the signatory institutions of CoARA in the proposing country, a requirement fulfilled by the more than 70 Spanish entities that have shown their interest in participating in the initiative.
 
The detailed proposal of the Spanish Chapter, elaborated with all the participating institutions, will be presented to CoARA for approval before June 6th.
