AECID approves ANECA's participation in Intercoonecta with a project to boost international cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID) has accepted ANECA's proposal to participate in the technical training and innovation programmes of Spanish public bodies as part of the INTERCOONECTA Plan with the project 'Building confidence among the stakeholders in the Higher Knowledge Space in the Latin American and Caribbean region through mentored activities of technical training and innovation aimed primarily at the technical teams responsible for the design of the audit and accreditation processes for Higher Education Institutions'.
The proposal of the National Agency for Evaluation and Accreditation is aimed at "strengthening international cooperation in the region of Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) in the promotion and quality assurance of the Higher Knowledge Space through mentoring and co-creation in the horizontal development of technical training, the generation of new experiences and learning in innovative knowledge processes using new technologies aimed at teaching and research staff and public institutions based fundamentally on the commitment to deliver on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda".
