The window for submitting applications for accreditation to PTU or CU by teaching staff of the European Union is now open

Coinciding with the entry into force of Ministerial Order CNU/1385/2024, of december 3, which regulates the specific procedure for recognizing as accredited the teaching staff of universities in Member States of the European Union, ANECA is opening the window for submitting applications for accreditation to University Professor/Professor and University Professor in accordance with this specific procedure.

This window had remained closed since April 1, 2024, when the procedure for recognition of equivalent position provided for by the fourth additional provision of the repealed Royal Decree 1312/2007, of October 5, is no longer in force.

Interested persons, who meet the requirements established by article 2 of the aforementioned Ministerial Order, must submit their applications through the ANECA electronic office (https://aneca.sede.gob.es/), checking the box corresponding to recognition of a position comparable to a University Professor or University Professor. They must attach the title of Doctor and the certificate of the teaching position that the applicant has achieved at his or her home university, following the model included in the Annex of the Order.

The application must be accompanied by a standardized CV (short CV) stating the most relevant merits in research, teaching and, where appropriate, leadership.
