Preview of changes to six-year periods for university teaching staff in the upcoming 2025 call for applications
Please note that the call for applications for the evaluation of six-year research periods for teaching staff is carried out by the universities, and that ANECA evaluates the applications submitted using the same criteria that govern the call for applications for civil servants.

In the upcoming 2025 call for applications, ANECA will evaluate applications from university teaching staff authorized by universities based on the new agreements currently being processed, which include these two important changes for all applicants:

• The deadline for submitting applications on the ANECA website will open one month after the start of the call for applications for civil servants.
• Applicants must submit prior authorization from their university in order to be evaluated, using the form that will be sent to the universities.

Next week, the evaluation criteria approved by the Plenary Session of the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI), scheduled for the 9th, will be published. The call for applications for six-year periods for civil servants, issued by the General Secretariat of Universities, will also be sent to the Official State Gazette shortly.
