Informe trimestral del programa DOCENTIA

  • 07/01/2026

The DOCENTIA Program consists of a set of guidelines and recommendations for universities (and their certification by ANECA and regional agencies) to develop a model for evaluating teaching quality, aimed at ensuring the training and competence of university faculty through an assessment of their teaching activity, in order to promote their recognition and improvement.

Under the current Spanish university system, the guarantee of faculty training and competence rests with the universities, which must therefore develop procedures for evaluating their performance, as well as for their training and encouragement, ensuring their qualifications and teaching competence. As part of ANECA's ongoing commitment to transparency, the results of this program's activities are published on a quarterly basis.

During the period from October to December 2025, two files were evaluated, corresponding to:

Universidad de Valencia. Segundo seguimiento de implantación.

Florida Universitaria. Primer seguimiento de implantación.

In both cases, these centers have been invited to continue implementing the improvements outlined in both reports before applying for implementation certification. The reports, still provisional, have been sent to AVAP for forwarding to the respective universities. Once finalized, the results will be published on the ANECA website.
