CNEAI 2020 Research Periods Call
- Expert Reviewers for the Evaluation of Research Six-Year Periods: Each appeal will be reviewed by a dual panel of experts in the corresponding area and assigned to a member of the subplenary of CNEAI.
- 2020 Research Six-Year Period Call: Resolution of December 17, 2020, from the General Secretariat of Universities, approving the call for the evaluation of research activity (Official Gazette of the Government ( BOE, December 19, 2020 ).
- Evaluation Criteria: The 2020 call follows the specific evaluation criteria approved by the Resolution of October 30, 2020, by the National Commission for the Evaluation of Research Activity (CNEAI).
- Experts for Evaluating Applications from the 2019 Call
- Application Submission Deadline: January 11 to February 8, 2021.
- Resolution of 25 January 2021 of the General Secretariat for Universities extending the deadline.
- Convalidations: University teaching staff can request the validation of positive evaluations for research activity periods recognized before they entered the civil service. The form must be submitted electronically at the following registration address. Submission period: January 11 to February 8, 2021 (economic effect date: January 1, 2021).

- Appeal Process for CNEAI Resolutions
- ANECA held an online meeting on 14 January 2021 to discuss the evaluation criteria to be applied in the current call for six-year research grants 2020. The session was held live via YouTube and Twitter and is part of the #Conversaciones_con_ANECA, a new communication space that the Agency has launched to strengthen interaction with all those involved in university teaching and research, who can participate and ask questions on the day, without prior registration.
