Monitoring, evaluation and updating of the Action Plan

Every six months, the persons responsible for each line of action present the progress made and propose new actions for the following period. These meetings make it possible to adjust the plan and ensure compliance with commitments.
-
Each year a detailed report is prepared with the actions implemented and their degree of progress. This report includes proposals for revision for the following annual cycle.
In addition, in accordance with CoARA's commitment, a global evaluation report of the Action Plan will be presented in 2028, which will assess the results achieved and will serve as a basis for defining the plan for the following period.

ANECA has developed a simple and flexible methodology to closely monitor the implementation of the CoARA Action Plan during its four-year duration. This monitoring is based on four key elements:
- Internal data: semi-annual reports are collected and organized with information from each work line.
- Practical tools: documents are reviewed, data are analyzed and results are validated with the CoARA Working Group.
- Criteria: progress of actions, efficient use of resources, adaptability, collaboration, transparency and sustainability are evaluated.
Analysis and continuous improvement: progress is reviewed annually and the plan is adjusted if necessary.
In addition, a traffic light system is used to visually show the status of each line of action and easily detect areas that require more attention. -
