Information note from the General Secretariat of Universities on the 'universal nature' of accreditation (RD 1312/2007 and RD 678/2023)

In accordance with the Informative Note of the General Secretariat of Universities of October 18, 2023, in the absence of a transitory provision that would have regulated the effects of accreditations obtained in accordance with previous regulations, the criterion of this General Secretariat of Universities is that, in accordance with the provisions of Article 2 of Royal Decree 678/2023, of 18 July, any person who has obtained state accreditation may access university teaching bodies and compete in access competitions, regardless of whether he/she has obtained such state accreditation through the procedures established in Royal Decree 1312/2007, of 5 October.
