  • 29/01/2024

This procedure will apply to applications submitted on or after April 1, 2024

The Management of ANECA has published the Procedure for obtaining the state accreditation for the access to the university teaching bodies, according to the Royal Decree 678/2023, of July 18, which regulates the state accreditation for the access to the university teaching bodies and the regime of the competitions for the access to positions of such bodies.

This new Procedure for obtaining the state accreditation for access to the teaching bodies of University Professor and University Professor (ACADEMIA 2024) is regulated in Chapter IV of Royal Decree 678/2023, of July 18, in its articles 15 to 25, and must be adapted to the principles established in its article 3.

This procedure will apply to applications filed as of April 1, 2024, in accordance with the provisions of the first transitory provision, number 3, of the Royal Decree.

Applicants whose applications were initiated and not completed before April 1, 2024 may withdraw from the procedure and request, as of that date, the evaluation in accordance with the new provisions (first transitory provision, number 2, of the Royal Decree).

This new procedure guarantees agility and the request for accessible documentation, in open, abbreviated and meaningful mode, using institutional repositories. To this end, the supporting documentation is significantly reduced (principle of veracity), and a brief curriculum vitae generated following the CVN standard is requested.

From this Procedure, questions related to the merits and competencies required to obtain accreditation may be developed, after the public consultation to which the evaluation criteria will be submitted, based on the suggestions received.
