ANECA has managed 175 applications for verification and modification of official university degrees in the last quarter of 2025

During the 4th quarter 2025, 40 applications for verification of official university degrees have been received, 28 of them were for Master's degrees, and 12 for Bachelor's degrees. 
All of them are under evaluation.

Table 1 shows the verification requests received by branch of knowledge. 

By branch of knowledge, 43% of the applications were linked to the branch of engineering and architecture and 20% to the branch of health sciences. 

Regarding substantial modifications, during the fourth quarter of 2025, 84 applications for substantial modification were received, 31 for bachelor's degrees and 53 for master's degrees. All of them are under evaluation. The branch of social and legal sciences has received most applications (45), followed by engineering and architecture (18) and health sciences (14).

Finally, the current regulations establish the possibility of processing non-substantial modifications to Bachelor's and Master's degree curricula.  During this period, 51 applications were submitted, 18 for Master's degrees and 33 for Bachelor's degrees. Of these, all files have been resolved, except for 3, which are under evaluation. 

Fifty-eight percent of the resolved files have obtained a favorable report and 42% have received an unfavorable report.
