ANECA's 2022-25 Strategic Plan contains a series of actions to improve transparency regarding budget execution and accountability. To this end, quarterly expenditure reports on assistance by programme have been published, the 2023 Annual Accounts have been made public in the register of annual accounts of the public sector of the Ministry of Finance and the audit report of accounts issued by the General State Intervention has been made public.

ANECA has also published the Annual Report for the year 2024, which includes the economic-financial data at the end of the corresponding financial year. The distribution of the Agency's expenses during 2024 is shown in the following table:

The following table details the distribution of the highest expenses, assistance and service commissions directly attributable to the main ANECA programs, corresponding to the payments made in 2024 for the operation of the different commissions.

The main variation is in the programmes of the Teacher Assessment Division, with a significant increase in activity in the ACADEMIA programme, for the accreditation of civil servant teachers, motivated by the regulatory change, partially offset by the decrease in activity in the evaluation of the AYUDAS programme and PEP (accreditation of working teachers). Regarding income, a total of 10,910,155.92 euros have been recognised in 2024, with a treasury balance of 1,105,669.77 euros as of 31 December 2024.
