ANECA issued 6,596 accreditation and equivalence reports in the first half of 2025

During the first half of 2025, ANECA submitted 6,596 reports to the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities: 3,366 of these were reports on the recognition of foreign university degrees as equivalent to Spanish university degrees required for the practice of a regulated profession, and 3,230 were reports on the equivalence of university degrees. 

With these figures, the number of files processed by ANECA's recognition and equivalence program in the first half of 2025 alone totals 6,596.

Thus, the measures carried out by ANECA in 2025  have proven effective in reducing processing times. The Agency remains committed to issuing reports on time with all the necessary guarantees and transparency. In any case, all files pending recognition and equivalence take less than two months to process at ANECA.
