ANECA evaluates 592 files for verification, modification and monitoring of university degrees during the first half of 2024

ANECA has published comprehensive data on the evaluation processes for verification, modification and monitoring applications for official Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees carried out by the Division for the Evaluation of Teaching and Institutions.

In total, during the first half of 2024, reports have been issued for 592 files, of which:

• 38 correspond to degrees evaluated for verification (25 positive and 13 negative)
• 186 correspond to degrees evaluated for substantial modification (171 positive and 15 negative)
• 262 correspond to degrees evaluated for non-substantial modification (188 positive and 74 negative)
• 106 correspond to monitoring reports for official university degrees.

During this period, ANECA has provided services to 24 universities in Spain, of which 16 are public and 8 are private.

This report, a testimony to the extensive work undertaken by the aforementioned Division, also provides other information of interest such as the percentage of files processed by private and public universities and their results, the queries received within the verification program, or the average time for resolving the files.

The report will be updated and published by ANECA on a quarterly basis.
