ANECA updates the format for publishing the results of undergraduate and master's degree program evaluations

ANECA is responsible for evaluating the degree programs at the 16 universities that make up the “ANECA Territory". In order to facilitate and improve the information regarding the evaluations of bachelor’s and master’s degree programs conducted by our committees, the Agency is updating the format for publishing the results—both favorable and unfavorable—to make them more systematic and visually appealing.

In the process of verifying new degree programs and modifying existing ones, the Council of Universities requests that ANECA evaluate the reports prepared by the universities. This process is first addressed by the Discipline-Specific Committees, which are organized according to the various branches of knowledge. The objective of the evaluation is to ensure that the degree programs comply with current regulations and meet sufficient minimum quality standards.

The chairs of each of these Branch Committees subsequently meet in the Report Issuance Committee, where the files are reanalyzed and provisional (prior to objections) and final reports are issued, which are in turn forwarded to the Council of Universities.

In June, the CEI issued 66 final reports: 15 verification reports, 41 modification reports, and 10 follow-up reports, the details of which are shown below.
