ANECA has launched a new dashboard featuring data from the new graphical tool for querying the 2025 Six-Year Tenure Call

ANECA has published a new dashboard that allows for a detailed analysis of the applications submitted for the 2025 Research Six-Year Period call. This tool builds on the Agency’s ongoing efforts to publish and monitor data, which began last November with the dashboard for the ACADEMIA state accreditation program.

The application period for civil servants ended on January 30, and the deadline for contract staff ended on March 2. A total of 15,638 applications were received (8,569 from civil servants, including validation requests, and 7,068 from contract staff).

The dashboard provides detailed data on the applications received by autonomous community, by gender, and, in the case of contract staff, by type of university. In addition, disaggregated data by gender is also provided for each of the committees.

It is worth noting a further increase in the participation of women, which has risen from 43% in the previous call to 45%, as well as in the number of applications submitted for Field 0 (Multidisciplinary and Interdisciplinary). Likewise, there was a very significant majority of applicants from public universities in the call for tenured faculty positions (approximately 78% of applicants are from public universities, compared to 22% from private universities).

Through initiatives such as this, the Agency continues to demonstrate its commitment to the principle of transparency while providing better service to all interested parties. At the same time, it is making progress in implementing the actions included in ANECA’s new Strategic Plan 2025–2030.

At ANECA, we continue to work on developing similar tools to bring greater transparency to other evaluation programs.
