Results of the last quarter of the VERIFICA program for Bachelor's and Master's Degrees

Applications for the verification of study plans

During the second quarter of 2025, 13 applications for the verification of Master's and Bachelor's degrees have been received, 3 and 10 respectively. Of these 13 proposals, 10 have already received a final verification report, which was favorable in 80% of the cases.
During the period mentioned above, 25 interim reports and 5 final reports have been issued. All the final reports issued were for Master's degrees, all the final reports being favorable to the verification of the degree proposals evaluated. No official degree verification request was withdrawn. 
Table 1 reflects the production of reports in the different branch evaluation commissions during the period considered. 
Forty-four percent of the proposals received were from the Social and Legal Sciences branch.

Requests for substantial modification of the curriculum

During the second quarter of 2025, 62 requests for substantial modification were received, 33 for Bachelor's and 29 for Master's degrees. Two of the requests were withdrawn.

The following graphs show the percentage of requests for substantial modification by type of education and branch of knowledge.
In the case of modifications to undergraduate degrees, 52% of the applications were assigned to the Health Sciences branch.

In the case of requests for substantial modification of Master's degrees, 41% were concentrated in the branch of Social and Legal Sciences, followed by the branch of Health Sciences, with 28% of the modification proposals received.

Regarding the production of reports, in the first quarter of 2025, 55 reports have been generated, 50 provisional and 5 final. All the final reports have been favorable. 

Requests for non-substantial modification of study plans

Articles 30 and 31 of Royal Decree 822/2021 establish the possibility of processing non-substantial modifications to Bachelor's and Master's degree study plans. Below is a description of the number of requests for non-substantial modification of Bachelor's and Master's degrees received during the second quarter of 2025. It also includes the total number of applications that have received a final report, identifying, in this case, the total number of favorable applications.
77% of the requests for non-substantial modification received are for Bachelor's degrees. 100% of the requests for non-substantial modification have already received a final report, which is favorable in 83% of the cases.
