1,607 applications for teaching positions evaluated in the last quarter of 2024

During the second quarter of 2025, ANECA's Teaching Staff Evaluation Program (PEP) issued evaluation reports on 861 applications for Contracted Doctoral Professors (PCD) and 746 for Private University Professors (PUP). 

The call for accreditation of contracted doctoral professors and private university professors (PEP Program) is the responsibility of the Ministry of Science, Innovation, and Universities, in accordance with applicable regulations (Royal Decree 1052/2002, of October 11). The accreditation criteria published by ANECA will remain in force until the Ministry indicates that they should be adapted in accordance with the transitional regime established by the LOSU.

On the other hand, the average resolution period has been reduced to approximately two and a half months, in line with the commitment made by ANECA's management. Furthermore, in both the PCD and PUP cases, the percentage of positive resolutions is around 70%.
