249 / 5.000 A new resolution has been published with general measures for the homologation of the title of Doctor or Doctor/Surgeon in Colombian universities to the Spanish university degree that qualifies for the practice of the profession of Doctor in Spain

As part of the measures to expedite the processing of files for Homologations and Equivalences of foreign degrees, on November 12, 2024, a new resolution was published by the director of ANECA for the evaluation procedure for homologation applications, which establishes general application measures for files for homologation of the title of Physician or Physician-Surgeon in Colombian universities to the Spanish university degree that qualifies for the practice of the profession of Physician in Spain.

As with previous resolutions of the same nature, this resolution is justified by the high percentage of files reported favorably and that either the existence of discrepant evaluations by ANECA specialists has not been detected or these discrepancies have been resolved, in relation to the same application for homologation of the same degree and university, based on the evaluated precedents, under article 11, section 2.a) of Royal Decree 967/2014, of November 21.
