ANECA's headquarters in Madrid has become the epicenter of a highly relevant event for agencies responsible for quality assurance in higher education in the European Higher Education Area.
Between March 26, 27, and 28, ANECA hosted two seminars: the 4th Seminar for Recently Reviewed Agencies, and the 3th Seminar for Agencies Preparing for a Review.
The seminar for Recently Reviewed Agencies aimed to support the agencies' development by inviting them to share and discuss post-assessment progress and best practices. Topics related to compliance with The Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) were covered with conference sessions, workshops, and open discussions. In addition, participants were able to share experiences regarding assessment processes, recommendations, improvements, challenges, and difficulties when interpreting ESG.

Regarding the seminar aimed at Agencies Preparing for a Review, the focus was on topics such as methodologies for full and targeted reviews and good practices related to the self-assessment process.
ENQA's Agency Review Committee shared its insights with the attending agencies through various talks. In addition to these presentations, activities also included workshops on self-assessment and improvement standards and the creation of specific working groups that were able to exchange experiences and knowledge about assessment processes, among other topics.
Three intense days that added experience and enriched the participating quality assurance agencies, becoming a unique opportunity to learn and share knowledge. Throughout the three days, the seminars were attended by the following agencies, in addition to ANECA itself:
