The Graduate Employment Observatory has been co-designed and set up by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA), the Quality Assurance Agency for the University System in Castilla y León, the Quality Assurance Agency for the University System in Catalonia, the Quality Assurance Agency for the University System in Galicia, the Prospect Center of Andalusia and the Center for Studies in Higher Education Management.
This website aims to become a useful tool for professionals or specialist in the area of surveys about graduate employment rates and the labour market.
Its main goal is to provide reliable and well founded information about higher education graduates employment. A team of technical staff members of the aforesaid organizations assesses the relevance of any new element proposed to be part of the web site, classifies it and drafts its summary in order to provide users with an easy access.
The portal is structured to store documents, related events and links to other organizations connected with graduate employment. It is equipped with a strong search engine to obtain very specific results, grouped by degree, university, year, graduation year, institution, geographical area.
This website wants users to take active steps to propose new elements (documents, links and related events) and collaborate in its classification.
Each of the organizations taking part in the project has appointed one of its technicians as a member of the website working group. Two of its members are in charge of reviewing any aspect, both classification and appropiateness, of new elements introduced in the webpage. The mission of the group is to safeguard the quality of the information provided by the Graduate Employment Observatory.
