ANECA brings together regional authorities responsible for higher education

Director of ANECA Regional authorities responsible for higher education

As the new academic year starts, the Director of ANECA has submitted to regional higher education authorities (of Autonomous Communities with no quality assessment agency) the activities and programmes scheduled for the new academic year 2013-14.

Topics covered during the session, attended also by the Director-General for Higher Education Institutions Policy, Jorge Sainz, included the proposal of ACREDITA, the new assessment programme for renewal of programme accreditation , created by ANECA following the protocol defined by REACU and approved by CURSA (University Commission for the regulation of the follow-up and renewal of accreditation). Besides, the role of the autonomous communities in the renewal process was thoroughly analysed.
