7 universities selected to conduct certification pilot process

Among 16 applications, 7 universities have been selected to participate in the pilot process for certification of implementation of Internal Quality Assurance Systems based on the AUDIT model.
This selection, plus those made by the Basque and Galician agencies, makes up a representative enough range to provide model validation.
ANECA´s main criterion has been to achieve a selection including the following profiles:
- Public and private universities.
- Engineering and non-engineering schools.
- Sciences and non-science faculties.
- Universities from regions with/without its own quality agency.
According to these criteria, applicants were grouped and the following centres have finally been selected:
