Training: Official Doctorate Studies

On the 24th April, the Institutional and Programme Evaluation Unit started the process to train and set up new evaluation committees. These committees will be in charge of the assessment of official doctorate studies proposals for their accreditation ex-ante.
Forty members of the academic staff of different Universities participated in this training process, consisting of the presentation and analysis of the technical documentation of the programme and the tools required to perform the tasks of the peer reviewers.
In the future, these committees will assess the implementation of official doctorate studies and their ensuing programme accreditation ex-post. The procedure follows ANECA’s policy, according to which a single evaluation committee should assess the complete development of each degree
