Training of Experts

Each year, ANECA provides training and updates for assessors, focusing on evaluators' prior experience working with the ACREDITA Procedure. Thus, in order to reinforce diversity three distinct types of training courses are established:

  • Training with a view to providing evaluators who took part in the last edition of the ACREDITA Procedure to become current with any updates.
  • Training for evaluators who have only worked with the ACREDITA Procedure in its pilot stage (2014).
  • Training for evaluators with no previous experience in the ACREDITA Procedure.

To aid evaluators in the performance of their duties, ANECA has compiled the External Evaluation Guide for the ACREDITA Procedure . The purpose of this document is to assist experts during the external process of degree programme accreditation and support them in making a methodological and independent evaluation.
